Small Plate Handling Systems
Permadur Small Plate Handling Systems are designed to
- Handle Plates ranging in thickness from Gauge Material to 1″
- Handle Non-Magnetic Materials and Steel
- Offer Upender/Downender capability to support taking Plate from horizontal to vertical and vice versa
- Possess a 3 to 1 Safety Factor with a Backup Vacuum Reservoir
- Be either Electrically or Air Powered
Permadur Series 102
These two style Permadur Series 102 Small Plate/Part Handling Systems are built with 2ea. TP-2000 Lifting Magnets suspended on an 6’ load beam with a Shackle/Ring Assembly for attachment to a single hook hoist. The System includes a #547 AC Powered Relay Pushbutton Controller.
The Controller includes Permadur’s Exclusive (-S) Safety Indicator Lighting System to tell the Operator when the Magnets have attached to the load in preparation for a safe lift. The Controller also provides the capability to interface the Controls with ON/OFF Pushbuttons on the Hoist Pendant or Crane Radio Controller.
Both style Systems have the Magnets on Cam Followers to facilitate their repositioning to address changes in Part sizes. Systems with Lead Screws support this repositioning of the Magnets; without it, Systems require manual repositioning.
This individual System has a Lead Screw to support repositioning of the Magnets.
